HELP US SUPPORT
IN HENDERSON COUNTY
Three ways you can support
The Center For Art & Entertainment
A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER JEANIE LINDERS…
I have always envisioned a place where the arts can be housed in one building that would cater to the creative impulses of a community. In launching The Center for Arts & Entertainment, I found a building -125 S. Main Street in Hendersonville - that not only anchors the end of a bustling downtown but a community that is expanding to welcome a diverse population seeking the finer things of life and its diversions. Whether retirees or growing families, the population of Hendersonville is on the verge of explosion.
Access to fine arts and professional cultural events on multiple levels offers our community the opportunity to attract a populace that supports a growing economy and positive growth as well as enhances our position in Western North Carolina.
The Center is in a unique position as our only agenda is "community" and we are not simply a gallery or a playhouse or a bookstore or a coffee shop or a brewery or a concert hall. We are creating the "anchor" to the arts and cultural activities where a diverse array of local talents can showcase their specialties, as well as offer marketing, exhibit, fundraising and meeting opportunities to Henderson County residents and tourists.
Hendersonville can become an Arts Destination for Four Seasons. Launched in July 2018, and opened on February 23, 2019, by private monies, The Center for Arts & Entertainment has been met with overwhelming kudos for the concept, the facilities, our partnerships and more. "Thank you for being here…" is heard often from our patrons.
Performing Arts Centers nationwide are not supported by ticket sales and grants alone. They are underwritten by financial patrons, sponsors, and donations from all parts of our community. $5, $10 and $20 donations are the foundation of support that keeps the Center open and the Arts alive in downtown Hendersonville.
Thank You For Making The Center Possible!
